Message from the Board
Chairman
Do you like coffee
on Sunday mornings, air circulation in the church in the summer, heat in
the winter, a clean building? More
importantly, how do you feel about support for our pastor and missionaries?
(77% of our budget) Those and other
items – lights, bulletins, building repairs, kitchen supplies – take
financial support.
Unfortunately, our
income has only met budgeted needs three of the first seven months of this
year. That means we had to take
money out of our savings account, and that account is almost gone.
No one likes to hear
news like this, but I felt it was important to let you know where we
stand. We as a congregation, voted
at the beginning of the year for a budget of $72,370. In doing so we agreed to help meet that
budget.
You can find the
monthly financial report, which includes budget amounts, posted on the
large bulletin board in the foyer.
Check it out. Then ask the
Lord how he wants you to help meet the needs of Mackay Community
Church.
